High profitability and high costs have stiffened competition in the airline industry. The main purpose of study is to propose a computationally efficient algorithm for integrated fleet assignments aircraft routing problems real-case hub spoke planning problem. economic concerns operations led need minimising increasing ability meet rising demands. Since fleets are most limited valuable assets carriers, allocation scheduled flights directly affects profitability/market share. assignment problem (AFAP) addresses aircraft, each with different capacity, capability, availability, requirement, given flight schedule. This proposes mathematical model heuristic method solving real-life We generate set instances based on real data conduct computational experiment assess performance proposed algorithm. numerical experimental results indicate that provides optimal solutions Furthermore, reveals compared method, takes significantly longer execute.
